Performance Sea Kayaking 101

Workshop Price: $275

Max Group Size: 6 Participants

Keen to paddle your sea kayak in more exciting and challenging conditions on Lake Superior and beyond? These weekend training workshops are meant for paddlers who want to venture into open water and exposed shores and coastlines.

Start your journey with a two day training workshop for paddling in rough seas, currents, and surfing waves with pro paddler Ben Fontenot.

8 hours of introductory skills workshop with a certified ACA L4 Coastal Instructor holding a decade of experience. Ben’s exclusive focus on surfing and paddling in rough dynamic coastal environments across North America brings a unique context to developing skills and practicing them on flat water.

Learn and develop skills specifically focused on techniques for paddling dynamic sea conditions, but on sheltered city lakes.
