8 hours of introductory skills workshop with a certified ACA L4 Coastal Instructor holding a decade of experience. Ben’s exclusive focus on surfing and paddling in rough dynamic coastal environments across North America brings a unique context to developing skills and practicing them on flat water.
Learn and develop skills specifically focused on techniques for paddling dynamic sea conditions, but on sheltered city lakes.
Full spectrum of paddle strokes for rough water on calm water: Practice drills and scenarios in context to being in wind, surf, and river mouths.

Venues are decided a week prior to the dates. Dependent on the water quality, expected powerboat traffic, and aquatic plant growth throughout the summer.
Participants must supply their own sea kayak and equipment.
