The small village of Cornucopia Wisconsin is centrally located within easy reach of several fantastic paddling and coaching locations, not to mention the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, which is considered one of the country's premier paddling destinations and is only 3 miles from town.
Our event site has access to the best beach on the south shore of Lake Superior, with fantastic open grassy spaces and covered pavilions in case of inclement weather. The town boasts a couple of restaurants, a general store, a coffee shop, and a gas station, and is within walking distance of a waterfall hike.
Meet our team
Our instructors and coaches are hand-picked for their ability, patience, and desire to create a strong paddling community. Local outfitters bring their expertise on board to offer social paddles to some of the best locations the Apostle Islands have to offer.
Expect to learn from Paige May, Brian Castillo, Pete Kuhn, Alissa Weitz, Greg Weiss, Nancy Uschold and more!

Community Connections
Symposiums are designed to connect paddlers and communities. Look forward to social paddles, group meals, and local program partnerships. Our venue is the entire Apostle Islands area and we are based out of the small village of Cornucopia.
Paying It Forward
From the very beginning it has been our goal to give back to the community; from youth leadership mentoring, helping people access the outdoors, to raising funds to help local causes effecting our environment.
During 2023 our participants raised $1500 for the Friends of the Apostle Islands. For 2024 our donation partner is Mt Ashwabay Outdoor Education Center!
